In 2010, we have 6th International workshops.
We make Mahiri keita and Dancer Miyako a lecturer and hold a workshop this year.
Mahiri Keita is a superior director of TTMUSA.
It is the second that he acts as a lecturer of Mishima-mura.
Dancer Miyako is a precious dancer knowing a traditional dance pattern.
And we planned two concerts this year.

The DJEMBE is racial traditional percussion instruments of West Africa including the Republic of Guinea such as MARINKE group or BANBARA group. I handle three sounds skillfully in one tup and can play much rhythm. It has been used as a musical instrument to communicate with person and nature for a long time. In "TAMTAM2010", I can learn various music mainly on the rhythm of the Malinke intelligibly and in detail.

As the island where the Shunkan priest that Iwo Jima is described in The Heike Monogatari was done banishment to an island of, the name is known to the whole country. There was a legend concerning the Shunkan, and the event of "the summer fire festival with pine torches" to be considered to be "a farewelling spirits bonfire of the Shunkan" on a tray was performed, and, from the people of the island, the Shunkan has been got close to for a long time. I erected a Shunkan image for the honoring in the village in May, 1995 and staged Mishima-mura Kabuki "Shunkan" by Kankuro Nakamura (existing perception Saburo) in May, 8, the following day and called a big topic. I held "Shunkan Festival" every year in May and, from nine years, the following day, performed various allied events such as a Satsuma biwa or the performance of the jazz sax and tried for appealing to the whole country for the name of Mishima-mura and existence of the Shunkan in Iwo Jima.
And, in this May, I stage "Shunkan" of the Noh which is the original of the Kabuki "Shunkan" in Iwo Jima. By sponsorship of Mishima-mura, it can come true by the produce of the national noh theater. 梅若玄祥 that Shunkan of the leading role is the first person of the Kanze school protagonist (from Rokuro Umewaka). It is formality I light a bonfire in the outdoors called the bonfire noh, and to hold, but I use "a farewelling spirits bonfire of the Shunkan" and the huge torch of a done "summer fire festival with pine torches" this time and perform it on the scale that is magnificent in the bottom of the quay of the cape.
